Are my images uploaded?
No. LiteImage processes selected images in your browser. The image files are not sent to LiteImage's server.
Which image formats are supported?
You can add JPG, PNG and WebP images. You can export as WebP, JPEG or PNG, depending on browser support.
Will compression reduce image quality?
It can. Lower quality settings generally produce smaller files, while higher settings preserve more visual detail. You can adjust the setting and compare the resulting file size.
What happens to the original image?
Your original file is not changed. LiteImage creates a separate compressed file for you to download.

These terms describe the current LiteImage website and its image-compression tool. They are not legal advice.
1. Using LiteImage
By using LiteImage, you agree to these terms and applicable laws. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. What the service does
LiteImage provides browser-based image compression and resizing. You can select supported image files, choose an output format and quality setting, and download a compressed copy. Available features may change over time.
3. Your files and rights
You remain responsible for the images you choose to process. Only use images you own or have permission to use, modify and download. You are responsible for respecting copyright, privacy and other people's rights.
4. Local processing
The current tool processes selected images in your browser rather than uploading them to LiteImage. Your original files are not intentionally modified. Your browser and device control the local processing and download experience.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the website to violate applicable laws or other people's rights, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, or disrupt the website or its infrastructure.
6. Quality and results
Compression results depend on the source image, selected format, quality setting, browser and device. A smaller file may have reduced visual quality, and some browsers may not support every output format. Review your downloads before using or sharing them.
7. Availability
We aim to keep LiteImage available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability. The service may be changed, paused or discontinued.
8. No warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, LiteImage is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that it will meet every requirement or produce a particular file size or quality. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect loss arising from use of, or inability to use, LiteImage, including issues caused by a browser, device, file, or third-party service. This does not limit responsibility where doing so would be unlawful.
